Where are They Now? Bob Young Red Hat Founder
By Mark on Jan 31, 2008 in LinuxToday, LinuxWorld, Open Source
Bob Young was the founder of Red Hat and former CEO of Red Hat until 1999. Now he owns Lulu a self-publishing company. Being a Raleigh,NC resident (as am I) he is often interviewed a lot by the local news. I thought this interview was a hoot. I like his assertion that he’s not as smart as most so he has to work hard to keep refining his ideas. Red Hat’s come a long way from selling t-shirts and CDs so it’s interesting to get some perspective from someone that was there before they were the gold standard for enterprise Linux.
