The Pulse of Open Source is the stream of collective consciousness of the open source community on Twitter. The Pulse of Open Source was inspired by and based upon the code for Pulse of PDX. The site is managed / operated by Raven Zachary and developed / hosted by Michael Richardson (thank you, Michael!).
The initial idea for this site was based on a conversation at Open Source Think Tank 2008 between five Twitter users – Raven Zachary, Ross Turk, myself, Reuven Cohen, and Aaron Fulkerson.
