		<description>Your first link to the press release is generating a "Page Not Found" error. I believe you're probably looking for this link instead:

		<description>Mark,

You know I love Drupal. Just when I fell in love with Drupal I noticied three disturbing things happen. Buytaert trademarked Drupal, then Acquia was formed and then they got funding. I also think VC's can ruin a company really fast. I have kept a close eye on them and I think you are right it is a tricky business. I recently wrote an article about them Go Big or Go Home - http://www.johnmwillis.com/enterprise-search/go-big-or-go-home/

I hope the do the right thing and I think they will.

		<description>&lt;blockquote&gt;Find complimentary, not antagonistic, ways to monetize this success which is their next step&lt;/blockquote&gt;

Very good point. I think the challenge will be to create a company that is embraced by the community and doesn't alienate it. Time will tell but I feel confident the team behind Acquia understands the challenges and diplomacy required to build a successful company that makes the Drupal product and brand stronger.
