Hugh McLeod - How To Be Creative
By Mark on Apr 7, 2008 in Marketing/PR
Hugh McLeod announced on his blog that he’s got a book deal to expand on his popular eBook/manifesto, How To Be Creative.
Some of the points he riffs on really resonated with me:
8. Companies that squelch creativity can no longer compete with companies that champion creativity.
15. The most important thing a creative person can learn, professionally, is where to draw the red line that separates what you are willing to do and what you are not.
21. Selling out is harder than it looks
I obviously can’t do it justice so read the electronic presentation and get ready for a good read in 2009.

Hugh and I worked together in Chicago at Leo Burnett. His idea was just getting seeded. It will be a beautiful baby.
