DOPPLR Shows Carbon Footprint of Travelers

I logged into Dopplr tonight and saw I had the option to track my carbon footprint. Apparently you can choose to see what your carbon footprint is for your travels. According to the Dopplr blog they take into the mileage and your mode of travel to discover.Not sure if that’s nice to know or depressing.
