This video is a funny twist on day laborers, the guys who gather outside Home Depot or underpasses in many cities looking for a days work.

The guys hanging off the side of the Golden Gate Bridge and he decides to call the news station for a little added publicity (even though the news helicopters are circling him and batting his sign around like crazy). One of my favorite blogs is Hugh MacLeod’s GapingVoid. Hugh’s schitck is to draw insightful cartoons on the back of business cards (and providing marketing insight). He’s currently in Alpine,TX, Hugh lives in London which is a world away from west Texas. It reminded me of my college rugby teammate, "Billy from England" (not to be confused with Billy from the Army). Billy used to tell us he only drank beer in the states because the tea was awful. So here’s my Hugh MacLeod inspired business card cartoon.
